ACJ Search are actively looking for a Sales Engineer with strong Project and Product knowledge to join a specialise electronics manufacturer based in the East Midlands. The development of new technologies means that the business has strong growth plans, both within existing and new sectors and are looking for a technical Sales Engineer to help drive this growth.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities and driving these through to completion, working closely with prospective customers as well as the technical teams internally to ensure that customer needs are met and the product is best in class. The role will require both technical and commercial acumen to deliver business solutions.
Specific areas of responsibility will include:
- Engaging with customers to understand needs and objectives.
- Communicate the technical and commercial proposition effectively
- Significant involvement in project implementation, working both with the customer and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to product lifecycle
- Identify key opportunities for growth through product alignment to new and existing customers
We are looking for people with the following skills and experience:
- Strong technical knowledge gained in an electronics manufacturing environment
- A mixture of sales, product and project management skills
- The ability to support complex sales processes through developing customer goals into deliverable solutions
- Excellent people skills and the ability to manage both customer and diverse internal stakeholders
- A charismatic, natural people person, able to build long term relationships
